# Google Tag Manager

The Google Tag Manager bridge forwards LiSA analytics events (media playback, product interactions, comments, social sharing, stickers) into your GTM container by pushing them onto the `dataLayer`. From there you map them to any destination — GA4, Google Ads, Floodlight, Meta, or your own tags — entirely in the GTM UI.

### Prerequisites

* **Google Tag Manager must already be installed** on the pages that host LiSA (your existing GTM container snippet). The bridge only writes to the `dataLayer`; it does not load GTM.
* A LiSA client id (provided during account setup) — part of the embed `src`.

### High-Level Flow

1. **Emission** — LiSA emits a domain event (e.g. a product add-to-cart) on the host page (see Event Delivery).
2. **Bridge** — the bridge pushes it to the `dataLayer` as `{ event: '<lsc_event_name>', lsc: { …the event } }`.
3. **Container** — your GTM triggers fire on the event name and read fields via Data Layer Variables (`lsc.*`); tags forward to your destinations.
4. **Reporting** — data lands in whichever tools your GTM tags feed.
