# Best Practices Live

### POSITIONING & LIGHTING

Make sure to position yourself for mobile and desktop viewers. LiSA offers a grid view that will show you easily where to stand before you go live

Right next to the camera drop down you will find the grid view button #. Click the button to see where to position your self for mobile viewres

Use a light source fom the front to have the best quality possible.

### HARDWARE & SOFTWARE

LiSA offers a lot of flexibility regarding additional hardware and software. Adding pieces to the set up does complicate things at times unnecessarily. We recommend to use your phone as it provides great quality and is so easy to use and set up!

You can use any commonly used browser and even video software such as OBS or vMix

### TIME TO GO LIVE

Finding the best time of the day to go live is tricky at times, especially if you are just starting out.

Analyse your traffic spikes for your shop and get a better picture when your customers are browsing and shopping. You might find that your customers prefer browsing on a Sunday morning, which potentially could be the perfect time for your event.

### WHERE TO GO LIVE

**TIP 1: Chose an inspiring location**

Even though the presenter will of course be the main focus of the show, an appealing, inspiring setting can make viewers feel more welcome.

**TIP 2: Create an authentic atmosphere**

From an influencer's own living room, over a great corner in your flagship store or a cool outside location all the way to a specifically designed studio - the choice of location needs to fit your audience's expectation.

However, we do advise to consider that live stream shopping is a more direct and somewhat more informal way of conversing with your audience. We experience that today's online shoppers generally prefer a more authentic vibe in livestreams than for example your classic TV-Shopping "look and feel".

**TIP 3: Consider depth**

Put your presenter in front of a background with some depth as it is easier on the eye when you're watching for a longer time. Placing a presenter directly in front of a wall or back drop can make it more difficult for the eye to process.
